Super Sweet Nikki

Nikki has been with us for over a week.  She settled in quickly on the first day and has felt at home ever since. Nikki is a gentle, calm and sweet girl. She has been great with our two greyhounds and our really small cat. She is also fascinated by our chickens. Luckily, they are protected by a fence otherwise they might end up as a snack. She still enjoys watching them whenever she goes out. Nikki loves to go for walks and does good on the leash. No pulling, but she does zig zag a little while trying to see as much as she can. Nikki has pulled out the squeaky bird toy a few times and it makes her so happy. She gets her tail wagging at full speed and then she runs in a tight little circle like a crazy happy dance. It is funny to see.
 

What A Sweetheart

Nikki is such a sweetheart. She is so calm, easy going and not demanding. She gives lots of love and likes to get lots of love in return especially tummy rubs. At first she wanted to collect ALL the toys in her crate and not share. But I think she realized it is hard to sleep in the crate full of toys and sharing isn't such a bad idea. Having toys has been a delight for her and she has such fun playing with them. She is a good listener and is doing well learning commands. Nikki is fearless, nothing seems to bother. She readily lets us know when she needs to go outside. In fact, she loves playing in the yard. Do you have a forever home for her? She will capture your heart and shower you with love.

First Day in My Foster Home

Boy, being in a home is every bit as wonderful as I've been told. I can't wait until I have my very own forever home. My foster brother made me feel so welcomed. He shares his toys with me and I find I like the squeaky ones the best too! I surprised my foster mom, I went to the door when I needed to go out. And, I got a treat for doing it. I know what " no" means and I come when called. Oh yeah, they call me "Nikki" for now.

Yeah for Nickel

She is going to make someone very happy, she could be their lucky Nickel (lucky penny, ha). She was so happy when we met her for the first time. She seems to know that she is off to bigger and better things. She has a gorgeous coat and is considered a champagne brindle. Her personality is blossoming - she is really silly. You can't help but smile when you see her. Poor girl came in with a few ticks on her. She did so good when they were being picked off even though it hurt. She is a very special girl.

Nickel is such a good girl. She's a happy dog and curls up into a little ball to sleep, which is very cute. She's looking for a forever family. Maybe you can make room for a little girl in your heart?
